Last June 2025, my orgmate (Shawie) invited me to go on an outreach program for Mangyan people in Mindoro. It was apparent that she and her churchmates had a long tie with the tribe. She also mentioned that they had introduced the gospel many years ago, which later made them a bond like a family. I've realized that bringing smiles to children's faces has helped me a lot on becoming a more empathetic person.
